Try our new activated savoury range launched summer 2025 - Cayenne and Garlic Almonds
The return of an old classic roasted recipe, but this time activated! Designed as a flavour hit, these almonds have been marinated in a mix of fresh garlic and spices. We use the top quality organic guara almonds from the almendrehesa regenerative project, giving an excellent crunch and marzipan sweetness to the raw nut.
Activation is a soaking method which "activates" the seed biology of the nut. It involves marinading, which simultaneously infuses the flavour, whilst flushing out the phytic acid in the nut. The results are an incredible texture and flavour, whilst keeping the raw goodness.
Try these as an addition to main meals. They work particularly well diced up and added to a stir fry or stiring them through hummus. Try fresh steamed greens dressed with walnut oil with a handful of these thrown in for good measure.
