These delicious cobnuts can be eaten as a snack or used in recipes just like hazelnuts, the fresh in-shell cobnut maintain a moist sweetness.
Please note, cobnuts in husk are still available but now are dryer and the leaf has turned brown. The internal nut is still delicious, but the green vibrancy fades with the weary the autumn sun.
